Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star safety and LSU commit Maurice Williams received an offer from Texas A&M on Monday afternoon. He announced the news on Twitter.

Williams is the No. 113 overall prospect and No. 10 safety in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 20 player in Texas.

To date, Williams holds 16 offers from programs such as Michigan, Oregon, USC, TCU, Ole Miss, Arkansas, as well as LSU and Texas A&M.

Williams has visited Texas A&M on two occasions in the past, both before he committed to the Tigers. The pair of visits both come during the 2021 season.

Williams has been committed to the Tigers since June 18, 2022.

Williams currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $103K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Texas A&M holds three commits in the class of 2024, only one on the defensive side of the ball. The Aggies have started off with some good momentum in the class of 2024 and are in good positions with a number of top recruits around the country. Unlike the 2023 class for the Aggies, the 2024 group has a chance to start out fast and strong.

As of right now, there are a total of 15 prospects in the class of 2024 who are favored in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine to land with Texas A&M. You will see most of them visit within the next few months Junior Days and early spring visits.
