Charlestown (Ind.) five-star offensive tackle and Kentucky commit Kiyaunta Goodwin has a busy week of visitors, and Tuesday saw him meet with one of the nation’s top recruiters.

Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher, along with offensive line coach Josh Henson and defensive line coach Elijah Robinson, paid an in-person visit to Goodwin.

Goodwin even revealed some of Fisher’s pitch to the elite offensive lineman.

“Coach Fisher said it could be the best recruiting class in the history of college football,” Goodwin tweeted.

Kiyaunta Goodwin is the No. 18 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Goodwin visited Texas A&M in November, along with two of the other top four offensive tackles in the class: Humble (Texas) Summer Creek five-star offensive tackle Kelvin Banks and Dickinson (Texas) four-star offensive tackle PJ Williams.

The three players even took a photo together that surely scared some defensive coordinators thinking about the possibility of having to face those three players all on the same line.

Williams is committed to the Aggies, while Banks just decommitted from Oregon following Mario Cristobal’s departure for Miami.

Texas A&M has the No. 1 recruiting class, even without Kiyaunta Goodwin

If Kiyaunta Goodwin flips from Kentucky, it would be a major coup for any of the programs still after him.

For the Aggies, it may be the final piece to nail down the No. 1 overall spot in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking for good.

Texas A&M jumped to No. 1 in the rankings Monday night after Lakeland (Fla.) five-star defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy shocked the recruiting trail by flipping to the Aggies from Oklahoma.

Brownlow-Dindy is the fifth On3 Consensus five-star prospect in the class with Powell (Tenn.) High Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Walter Nolen, Frisco (Texas) Liberty Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Evan Stewart, Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland quarterback Conner Weigman and Beaumont (Texas) West Brook safety Bryce Anderson.
