Texas tight end and former Alabama transfer Jahleel Billingsley is expected to enter the NFL draft, sources tell On3.

Billingsley, who has two years of college eligibility remaining, has played in four games for the Longhorns this season and posted three catches for 38 yards. He hasn’t played in Texas’ last two games after serving a six-game suspension to begin the year.

Billingsley, a former four-star recruit, recorded 35 combined catches for 543 yards and six touchdowns his final two seasons at Alabama before transferring to the Longhorns earlier this year. That includes 17 catches, 256 yards and three scores in 2021.

Billingsley, a terrific athlete at 6-foot-4 and 219 pounds, also contributed as a kick returner for the Crimson Tide.

The Chicago native ranked as the 11th-best tight end and 290th-best overall prospect in the 2019 recruiting class according to the On3 Consensus Rankings.
