The Crib Classic 7-on-7 Preview: Offensive players to know

The second annual Crib Classic is set to take place Saturday at Christopher Columbus High School in Westchester, Fla.
It’s an event that gathers some of the best talent across the tri-county area to compete in a 7-on-7 tournament. High schools across the area will bring their best to compete for a $6000 cash prize.
Here is a list of players on offense who are bound to make big-time plays.
American Heritage (Plantation)
5-star 2026 QB Dia Bell
The Texas commit is looking to prove that he and Team RAW should have emerged victorious at OT7 two weekends ago. The Elite 11 champion throws nearly every ball with precision, goes through his reads quickly, and gives his playmakers chances to make plays. Expect Bell to throw for several scores.
3-star 2026 WR Jeffar Jean-Noel
The Georgia Tech pledge knows how to get open and displays great body control when the football is airborne. Jean-Noel also knows how to find open field and break away from defenders with his speed. The talent from Heritage is a chain mover.
4-star 2026 WR Brandon Bennett
Speed, speed and more speed was what comes to mind when you think of the Florida State commit. One mistake by a defender and it’s a deep ball for a score. The opposition must get a jam or knock him off his route; otherwise, it’s curtains.
3-star 2026 WR Jamar Denson
The Old Dominion decommit has a chance to make waves on the Power Four level. Denson is another game-breaking talent that can take it the distance if given some space. He’s a crafty route runner who uses hesitation to deceive defenders and takes advantage of mistakes.
Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach)
3-star 2026 QB Jyron Hughley
The West Virginia commit is an outstanding athlete with a rifle arm. He can also put a nice touch on the deep ball for his playmakers. He’s the type of player who can will his team to victories and wouldn’t be surprised if he and the other Crusaders make noise at the Crib Classic.
3-star 2026 WR Zamarii Sanders
Sanders is another athlete with blazing speed who must be accounted for. He’s able to contort his body for contested catches and can run away from defenders with his track speed. Hughley will be looking for Sanders for highlight plays.
Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood)
4-star 2026 RB Derrek Cooper
Seven-on-seven is not necessarily the setting that displays all of what the 6-foot, 200-plus-pound back can do, but he will make some plays and help move the chains for his team. Cooper can catch the ball out of the backfield with regularity and cannot be missed by the opposing defense.
4-star 2026 WR Jasen Lopez
Lopez is an elite route runner and catches nearly everything that is in his vicinity. He displays short-area quickness that allows him to get open consistently. The Florida State commit has reliable hands and will take advantage of one-on-one matchups all day long.

4-star 2026 WR Denairius Gray
The Kentucky commit has all the tools to be a reliable pass option on the next level and is a terror in 7-on-7. His 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame gallops down the field with the football in his hands, and the senior is ideal for fade routes in the corner of the end zone.
3-star 2027 RB Arwin Jackson
The other running back at Chaminade cannot be slept on. Jackson is shifty, explosive, and also a reliable pass-catcher. He is a consistent option out of the backfield, providing his team with plenty of versatility.
Unrated 2028 WR Tromon Issac Jr.
This elusive ’28 talent will turn heads. He’s a natural at finding the football in space and has the quickness to get open and extend plays. He has sticky hands and is already a solid route-runner. Issac Jr. could be one of the top receivers in the country with plenty of room to grow.
Unrated 2028 WR Peter Pierre
Pierre’s body type already draws comparisons to that of former Chaminade standout Jeremiah Smith, who stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 210 pounds. His upside will be exciting to watch over the next few years. He has raw traits that will develop over the years, but Pierre has a foundation that colleges will drool over.
McArthur (Hollywood)
3-star 2027 WR Khamarian Young
Another receiver with sticky hands and tremendous body control, Young will surely gain plenty of recognition in his junior and senior seasons. He does not need much space to get open and will be a viable option for the Mustangs during 7-on-7 and during the football season.
Miami Central
3-star 2026 WR Brandon Kinsey
The Purdue commit does a great job of positioning his body for receptions and can run every route on the route tree. Finding the football and making receptions is one of his best traits. He likely comes down with the football if it’s a 50/50 ball. The Boilermakers may have gotten a steal from South Florida.
3-star 2026 RB Jayden Ford
The FIU commit may be the most elusive athlete in all of South Florida. Ford, who comes from a long line of playmakers from the area, can stop on a dime and accelerate in the blink of an eye. He’s an undersized talent who makes big-time plays. He’s guaranteed to cause crowd reactions.
