The dead period has officially come to an end and visits are set to pick up again this week. We’re also just a few weeks away from the 2024 high school football season kicking off.

SEC programs have been on a role over the last few months landing pledges from several of the nation’s top recruits. Of the top 20 classes in the country, the SEC is home to 10 of those classes.

Here are the top 10 SEC classes in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, as of Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.

1. Georgia (94.733)
4 five-stars | 16 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 23 total recruits
Top Commit: Buford (Ga.) quarterback Dylan Raiola, No. 2 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: The Bulldogs have held the top spot in the On3 Industry Team Rankings for awhile and don’t seem to be in any danger of losing that top spot anytime soon. Nine of their pledges are ranked as top-100 recruits including a pair of Five-Star Plus+ prospects in Raiola and linebacker Justin Williams. IMG Academy five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV is ranked just outside of the top-10.

2. Florida (92.358)
2 five stars | 13 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 21 total recruits
Top Commit: McKinney (Texas) safety Xavier Filsaime, No. 28 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Billy Napier and the Gators have been on a tear this cycle sitting 13 spots higher than they finished last cycle with the No. 3 class in the country. Filsaime’s rise into a five-star prospect gives them a pair of five-star pledges as he joined coveted quarterback DJ Lagway with his pledge in April

3. Alabama (92.289)
3 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 4 three-stars | 15 total recruits
Top Commit: Carlsbad (Calif.) quarterback Julian Sayin, No. 4 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Alabama may not have as many commitments as teams like Georgia and Florida, but the pledges the Crimson Tide do have are from high-caliber players. Nearly 50% of the players currently committed to Alabama are ranked as top-75 prospects.

4. Tennessee (91.180)
1 five-star | 11 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 18 total recruits
Top Commit: Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview wide receiver Mike Matthews, No. 15 in On3 Industry Ranking
ISummary: The Vols have built a solid class over the last few months but things went up a notch earlier in the month when Matthews announced his pledge to Tennessee over Clemson, Georgia and USC. That pledge propelled Tennessee from a team just outside the top-10 nationally back into the top-10.

5. Texas A&M (91.058)
1 five-star | 10 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 18 total recruits
Top Commit: Phenix City (Ala.) Central wide receiver Cam Coleman, No. 11 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Texas A&M has arguably been the hottest team on the recruiting trail since the beginning of June. During that stretch they landed 14 of their 18 commitments including a surprise pledge from Coleman on the Fourth of July.

6. LSU (90.663)
0 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 19 total recruits
Top Commit: Jackson (La.) East Feliciana tight end Trey’Dez Green, No. 72 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Keeping in-state talent home has been a priority for Brian Kelly and the Tigers this cycle. Of LSU’s 19 commitments, 14 are in-state products and they hold pledges from eight the state’s top 10 recruits.

7. Oklahoma (90.288)
0 five-stars | 9 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 16 total recruits
Top Commit: Longview (Texas) running back Taylor Tatum, No. 35 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: The Sooners have some work to do get back into the top-10 like they were last cycle but landing players like Tatum will get them there. One of their newest pledges, Tatum joins a group full of offensive standouts like two top-70 prospects in wide receiver Zion Kearney and tight end Davon Mitchell.

8. Arkansas (89.680)
0 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 8 three-stars | 16 total recruits
Top Commit: Temple (Texas) Lake Belton cornerback Selman Bridges, No. 76 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Sam Pittman has the Razorbacks headed in the right direction once again as they currently sit 10 spots higher than where they finished during the 2023 cycle. Bridges highlights a class led by four players ranked in the top-100 and two ranked as top-100 prospects.

0 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 15 total recruits
Top Commit: IMG Academy (Fla.) running back Jerrick Gibson, No. 63 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: After a bit of a slow start to the cycle, Texas really got going over the last two months landing 13 of their 15 current pledges since mid-June. The gem of that group so far is Gibson who is ranked as one of the top running backs of this cycle giving the Longhorns another elite running back out of Florida.

10. South Carolina (89.504)
0 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 13 total recruits
Top Commit: Dillon (S.C.) offensive tackle Josiah Thompson, No. 47 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks finished just outside of top-15 class in the 2023 cycle and are few spots off of that mark now. They sit at No. 19 nationally, are in the mix for several of the nation’s top recruits and have a class headlined by two top-60 offensive tackles in Thompson and Kam Pringle.
