Los Alamitos (Calif.) High wide receiver <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/deandre-moore-jr.-33022">DeAndre Moore Jr.</a> has decommitted from Oklahoma. The 5-foot-11, 189 pound Moore had been committed to the Sooners since September.



Moore sent a statement regarding his decommitment:



I would like to thank The University of Oklahoma as well as Coach Murray and Coach Gundy for welcoming me to the Sooner family with open arms. Sooner Nation has been nothing short of great and I’m thankful for the love all of you showed. 



With that being said, I am reopening my recruitment and de-committing from The University of Oklahoma.

DeAndre Moore Jr. is high school teammates with former Oklahoma and now USC commits <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/malachi-nelson-81447/">Malachi Nelson</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/makai-lemon-81341/">Makai Lemon</a>.



The <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/">On3 Consensus</a>, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting services, ranks Moore as the nation’s <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/">No. 49 overall prospect</a>, and the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/?position=wr">9th best wide receiver</a>.
