The 2022 NFL Draft has some intriguing prospects, and a number of them come from the Big Ten. Michael Renner of Pro Football Focus ranked the top draft-eligible prospects out of the Big Ten. His list consists a dangerous wide receiver tandem at the top.

The Top 10 draft-eligible players in the Big Ten:

10. Haskell Garrett, Ohio State defensive lineman: Garrett is a big interior defensive lineman who excels as a pass-rusher. His quickness allows him to be a threat to get into the backfield on any given play. He needs to round out his all-around game in 2021, but if he can, he could be one of the top defensive line prospects in the draft.

9. Rasheed Walker, Penn State offensive tackle: Walker stands at six-foot-six and 310 pounds, but he has good mobility for a lineman at his size. He is strong, but he needs to improve in his third season as a starter. Walker’s build is one that NFL teams will love if he can improve in a few areas.

8. Thayer Munford, Ohio State offensive tackle: Last season, Munford emerged as a good offensive tackle and a legit NFL prospect. He is an excellent run blocker but needs to improve his mobility to make it at the next level.

7. Jaquan Brisker, Penn State safety: Brisker racked up 57 tackles with five pass breakups and one interception last season. He is reliable and does not miss many tackles. Brisker could emerge as one of the top safeties in the 2022 draft class.

6. George Karlaftis, Purdue defensive lineman: One of the best power rushers in the nation. Karlaftis struggled through injuries last season, but when he has been on the field, he has been a dominant force on the interior defensive line. His hands and power make him a truly dominant force on defense.

5. Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan defensive lineman: Hutchinson is another solid power rusher on the defensive line. He projects as more of a defensive end rather than an interior lineman, but he has tremendous force as a rusher. Hutchinson also excels as a run stopper. He is an intriguing draft prospect on the defensive line.

4. Brandon Joseph, Northwestern safety: Joseph led the nation with six interceptions last season. He has tremendous range and hands and can cover just about any player on an offense. He is versatile and also solid against the run. Joseph could find himself as a first-rounder.

3. Chris Olave, Ohio State wide receiver: Olave and Ohio State teammate Garrett Wilson are right there with each other as the top wide receivers in the 2022 draft class. Olave has tremendous speed and is an excellent route runner. He has four drops on 115 career targets. Olave could be going to be a first-round draft pick and one of the first offensive players taken.

2. Tyler Linderbaum, Iowa offensive lineman: He could have entered the 2021 draft, but Linderbaum instead returns to Iowa as one of the best offensive linemen in the class. He is arguably the best center in the country and that should only improve as he continues to bulk up. He is a very serious candidate to go in the first round as one of the top offensive line prospects.

1. Garrett Wilson, Ohio State wide receiver: Paired with Olave, Wilson gives Ohio State the best pass-catching duo in football. Wilson is a great route runner and his speed allows him to be a dangerous player downfield. His hands are also good, and his all-around game should only improve this year. Wilson and Olave are neck-and-neck in the eyes of many, but Pro Football Focus gives him the edge as the top Big Ten player in the 2022 draft.
