USF offers 4-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina
Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian four-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina picked up an offer Thursday from USF.
He is the No. 40 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
On3 rates him higher at No. 20 in the 2023 On300 ranking and as the fourth-best quarterback in the class. That is the highest ranking among the four media companies, according to the Industry Comparison.
“In evaluating the quarterback group for this ranking a few weeks ago, we came to view Christopher Vizzina as the clear No. 4 quarterback in the cycle coming out of the junior season,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said. “Vizzina separates himself from some other top quarterback prospects in large part due to his translatable movement skills. The Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian signal-caller may have the best pocket movement we’ve seen among quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. Vizzina is a twitchy, quick-footed mover in the pocket and has the speed to rip off long touchdown runs once he’s loose at the second level.”
Vizzina currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $37k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
He is going to be visiting Auburn this weekend. On3’s Jeremy Crabtree says this weekend is going to be arguably the biggest in the Bryan Harsin era for recruiting.
