The Blue A Collective launched in June 2023 with a focus on supporting NIL activities for Utah State student-athletes. Interestingly, the collective was co-founded by former Utah State coach Gary Anderson, who also spent time as the head coach at Oregon State and Wisconsin. “We will combine our passion for Utah State and its student-athletes with our deep love for the Cache Valley community to make a difference,” fellow Big A Collective founder Eric Laub said. “Our primary objective is to empower student-athletes to benefit from their name, image and likeness while simultaneously fostering a strong connection with Cache Valley. The Blue A Collective said it has filed an application with the IRS to operate as a 501(c)(3) public charity. The collective has also gotten official support from the Utah State Athletic Department and from key alums like Jordan Love and Robert Turbin.
