Broncos Will Reign is a nonprofit collective launched in the spring of 2023 that uses the NIL of Western Michigan University student-athletes to “help them make a difference through charitable giving and helps to support our student-athletes financially.” The collective has received official support from the Western Michigan athletic department. Broncos Will Reign’s website says the collective “will cultivate relationships with charitable organizations throughout the Kalamazoo area and in the communities in which Western Michigan University student-athletes live.” “We anticipate that many charities will be identified through long-standing relationships that exist with donors and board members of Broncos Will Reign,” the website says. “Student-athletes also have the opportunity to present charitable organizations they are already involved with or passionate about. Broncos Will Reign will align student-athlete interests with relevant charities when possible.”
