The press release that announced the launch of Friar Family Collective said the collective is operated by Coast to Coast Promotional Products, which is the official promotional products company of Providence College Athletics. Friar Family Collective's release said it's officially endorsed by the college, which is notable. Providence Vice President/Athletic Director Steve Napolillo, who officially started in his position on July 1, 2022, is quoted in the release, saying, "The best interests of Providence and its student-athletes are central to the Friar Family Collective and its members. I look forward to the Friar Family Collective giving our student-athletes an opportunity to maximize their name, image and likeness in this new college landscape."
