Boomer  Kia in Oklahoma City, Okla., and Sooner Kia in Norman, Okla., have agreed to a NIL deal with Oklahoma offensive tackle Anton Harrison, a preseason All-Big 12 conference selection.

Also signing NIL deals with the dealerships are Oklahoma receiver Jalil Farooq and defensive lineman Kelvin Gilliam. The terms of the NIL agreement were not released.

“We’re excited to partner with these Oklahoma Sooner players to help market our local dealerships in the community,” said Aaron Leger, owner and general manager of Boomer Kia and Sooner Kia. “It’s a win-win partnership for our business and the athletes. We are both able to expand our recognition and fanbase in the community. We’re thrilled to be some of the first dealerships in the nation to sign NIL deals with student-athletes.”

As part of the NIL deal, Sooner Kia will host a public event with all three athletes from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday at Top Golf, located at 13313 Pawnee Drive in Oklahoma City.

Anton Harrison making big NIL moves

Anton Harrison is one of the most highly regarded offensive linemen in the country. He’s a preseason all-conference selection and ranked as a top 50 Big Board prospect ahead of the 2023 NFL draft. This is the second deal Harrison has struck this week. On Monday, Hooters announced a NIL partnership with Harrison and 50 other offensive linemen at 10 different schools.

Harrison currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $581,000. He is also ranked No. 60 on the On3 NIL 100 and No. 38 on the On3 College Football NIL Rank. Furthermore, Gilliam has an On3 NIL Valuation of $79,000. Farooq has an On3 NIL Valuation of $85,000.

Additionally, the On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
