LSU forward, national champion and reigning Final Four Most Outstanding Player Angel Reese will host two events in her hometown of Baltimore this week and she has used her NIL rights to promote both in conjunction with the fashion and lifestyle brand DTLR.

On Monday, she’s hosting a meet and greet from 5-7 p.m. at DTLR’s location at Northwood Commons. Registration is required and tickets are available for $29.99. Attendees can also purchase shirts featuring Reese’s nickname “Bayou Barbie.”

A promotional graphic says “all profitable proceeds” will benefit the Angel C. Reese Foundation Reese announced last week. Reese’s foundation is intended to empower women through education, financial literacy and sports.

Then on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Reese will provide instruction at a free, youth basketball skills clinic at her alma mater, St. Frances Academy.

WNBA veteran and former No. 1 overall pick Angel McCoughtry, who also attended St. Frances Academy, will also take part in the clinic. St. Frances Academy coach Nytearia “Nyke” Burrell and her coaching staff will attend, too. McCoughtry tweeted that the camp “sold out in one hour!”

“Are you ready to show off your basketball skills and have a blast on the court?” states one promotional graphic McCoughtry shared. “We are thrilled to invite you to participate in our upcoming basketball event, where athletes of all levels can come together, compete, and enjoy the game we all love.”

The graphic includes an image of Reese celebrating with her right palm open, facing the ground, indicating an opponent is “too small.”

DTLR partnered with St. Frances Academy to promote the clinic.

Angel Reese’s On3 NIL Valuation

In her first season at LSU after transferring from Maryland, Angel Reese averaged 23 points and 15.4 rebounds for the Tigers, which went 34-2 and won their first national championship in 2023.

Reese was named a first-team All-American by multiple media outlets and organizations, as well as first-team All-SEC and a member of the SEC All-Defensive Team.

Additionally, she has an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.6 million, which ranks No. 1 among current women’s basketball players and No. 5 in the On3 NIL 100. Reese has 2.3 million followers on TikTok and 2.2 million on Instagram, plus roughly 375,000 followers on Twitter.

At the ESPYs earlier this month, Reese won the award for Best Breakthrough Athlete.
