Oklahoma State WR Brennan Presley’s appearance at local YMCA displays NIL impact
While national NIL partnerships grab the most headlines, experts agree that it’s often the local deals that have the most significant impact on businesses. That’s why a lot of people in the Oklahoma State community are fired up about the latest agreement with Cowboys’ all-purpose star Brennan Presley.
Presley, the 5-foot-8, 160-pound 2021 All-Big 12 pick from Bixby, Oklahoma, has agreed to a NIL deal with Dolores Lemon & Associates Real Estate Professionals in Stillwater.
According to Jaxon Curtis with VMG Sports, the deal with Presley is one of the first local deals with a Stillwater-based company and a star Oklahoma State football player. The deal was negotiated by Curtis and Sammy Spina of VMG Sports. The terms of the agreement were not released.
As part of the “community-driven” deal, Presley spent time Monday at the Stillwater YMCA, where he signed autographs, took pictures and hung out with kids. The meet-and-greet also had representatives from Dolores Lemon & Associates, and company officials said they loved the idea of working together to spread positivity in Oklahoma State’s backyard.
“The Stillwater community has meant and means so much to me and my family over the years,” Presley told On3. “So, I thought, what better way to utilize my NIL than to do something for the next generation in the area?”
Brennan Presley NIL deal important for many people
For every mega deal featuring fancy cars and concerns about pay-for-play, there are thousands of NIL deals like the one between Presley and Dolores Lemon & Associates. Those types of deals benefit not just the student-athlete and the business, but also others in the area.
“I’m grateful for the entire team at Dolores Lemon & Associates Real Estate Professionals,” Presley said. “They helped me coordinate and bring this vision to life. It was a lot of fun to spend some time with kids at the YMCA and I’m looking forward to staying involved with the community here in the future.”
The Stillwater YMCA agreed.
“We were thrilled for Brennan to visit our Stillwater YMCA,” the organization said. “The opportunity for our kids to learn from their role models was amazing.”
Presley has solid On3 NIL Valuation

Along with the deal with Dolores Lemon & Associates, he’s also executed agreements with The Athletic Collection. He was also one of the outspoken leaders of the Stillwater NIL Club, the players-led collective that directly supports members of the Cowboy football team.
Through seven games this season for top-10 nationally ranked Oklahoma State, Presley has two receiving touchdowns. He’s also averaging 29 yards on kickoff returns. He had a 100-yard kickoff return for a score in the 2021 season.
