Tennessee WR Squirrel White lands NIL deal with Nashville Predators
Tennessee Volunteers receiver Squirrel White announced a new NIL partnership Thursday with the Nashville Predators, in an agreement facilitated by On3 ELITE.
As part of the NIL deal with Nashville’s NHL franchise and to promote the Pred’s Tennessee College Night, White will participate in “Signing Day” with an autograph session and meet and greet starting at 5:45 p.m. Thursday. The Preds face the Calgary Flames at 7 p.m. inside Bridgestone Arena.
“Don’t want to miss it,” White said in a social media post promoting the NIL deal.

Squirrel White ranked as a top-150 prospect by On3 coming out of Pinson Clay-Chalkville High School in the 2022 recruiting class.
White averaged 16 yards a catch during his freshman season at Tennessee, and he ranked fifth on the team with 30 catches for 481 yards and two touchdowns. White grabbed national headlines with a breakout performance in the 2022 Orange Bowl. He finished with 108 yards and a touchdown against Clemson. White entered the 2023 season as a preseason All-SEC pick. He finished 2023 with 803 yards receiving and two touchdowns. His best game of the season came against Alabama when he had 10 catches for 111 yards and a score.
White’s nickname originated from his great-grandmother, who called him “Squirrel” as an infant after he moved in unison with a squirrel in her garden.

This isn’t Squirrel White’s first significant NIL deal. He’s a part of The Volunteer Club powered by Spyre Sports – the Volunteer-focused collective – and he’s also appeared in a commercial for Weigel’s Stores.
Squirrel White has an On3 NIL Valuation of $141,000. The terms of the deal with the Predators were not released.
