2025 NBA Draft: Full list of players attending second round in green room

Following an exciting first round of the 2025 NBA Draft on Wednesday, there are several high-profile former college basketball stars still available to for selection on day two. Ahead of the second night’s festivities, the list of players planning on attending Thursday’s event has been announced, per ESPN’s John Fanta.

These athletes will get the opportunity to walk across the stage and shake most likely deputy commissioner Mark Tatum’s hand in Brooklyn. Now the second year of the NBA Draft’s two-day format, the event’s expansion allows an additional spotlight to be placed on the final 30 picks. Before this, most of the festivities were exclusive to first-round selections.

Having players like Johni Broome, a candidate for national player of the year last season, a national champion in Alijah Martin and one of the best 3-point threats in the draft in Koby Brea, teams are sure to get value out of some of college basketball’s top talent. However, three international players will also be in attendance expecting to hear their names called.

Izan Almansa, 20, comes to the NBA with tons of experience. The 6-foot-10 forward been in the G League already, playing for the G League Ignite in 2023. Before that he was with Overtime Elite for two years. This past season, Almansa, a native of Spain, played in Australia for the Perth Wildcats in the National Basketball League (NBL).

Saliou Niang is largely an unknown name in the 2025 NBA Draft. However, he had a solid season last year in Italy, averaging 8.1 points and 5.0 rebounds in the Lega Basket Serie A league.

Bogoljub Markovic, a Serbian native, originally entered the 2024 NBA Draft before playing in the Mega Basket. He averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and 2.6 assists The 6-foot-11 prospect shot 38% from beyond the arc this past season.

Six players coming from international basketball leagues were selected during Wednesday’s first round. They plan on being the next three. Other names such as Ryan Kalkbrenner (Creighton), Maxime Raynaud (Stanford), Chaz Lanier (Tennessee) and Hunter Sallis (Wake Forest) are still on the board heading into day two, among others.

The second round of the 2025 NBA Draft will begin at 8 p.m. ET live on ESPN. The Minnesota Timberwolves will select first with the 31st overall pick.
