Aaron Rodgers reveals he is married during first day with Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers revealed he got married over the course of the offseason when speaking to local media members during Pittsburgh Steelers’ minicamp Tuesday. Rodgers was asked if it was an Oura ring or a wedding ring on his left hand.
Well, the mysterious QB is married, but he didn’t offer up too many additional details. The future Hall of Famer mentioned multiple times he dealt with other personal issues following the end of the 2024 season with the New York Jets, which is why he took his time to sign with a new team.
But, Rodgers is all in with Pittsburgh and appears to have a new wife at his side. If and when more details arise about the newlyweds remains to be seen.
“Yeah it’s a wedding ring,” Rodgers said. “Thank you … It’s been a couple of months.”
Rodgers has had very public relationships in the past, notably with race car driver Danica Patrick and actresses Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley, the latter being an ex-fiance. Patrick recently opened up about her breakup with Rodgers on Sage Steele’s podcast in May, describing the less-than-stellar ending to their relationship.
Rodgers spent two years with the Jets after coming over from the Green Bay Packers, but his first season in New York ended on his first drive of the 2023 season due to an Achilles injury. In 2024, he threw for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns, along with 11 interceptions, marking two straight full seasons with at least 10 picks.

Rodgers will have the recently acquired DK Metcalf as his primary weapon, in addition to tight end Pat Freiermuth. George Pickens was a Steeler until Pittsburgh moved him to the Dallas Cowboys.
Rodgers will wear No. 8 with the Steelers, despite No. 12 being available, technically. Pittsburgh hasn’t retired No. 12, but has kept it out of circulation following Terry Bradshaw’s wearing of the jersey. No. 8 was Rodgers’ number with the Jets, as well as in college with Cal.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will open against the New York Jets on the road on September 7th at 1:00 p.m. ET. Justin Fields, who played for the Steelers last season, will play opposite Rodgers in an intriguing Week 1 matchup for the 2025 season.
