The ongoing off-the-field drama that seems to follow Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson like a shadow was revived Friday after former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre‘s latest exposé involving the first-year North Carolina head coach and his 24-year-old girlfriend/business partner.

On his latest Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast episode that dropped Friday morning, Torre released exclusive behind-the-scenes video that show Belichick and Hudson making catty and critical comments about the NFL Films crew that worked on Belichick’s “Coach” podcast show during his 2024 coaching hiatus. Torre released it as the latest example of Hudson’s controversial involvement in Belichick’s business endeavors, including throughout a difficult first season in Chapel Hill.

In the leaked video, Hudson — who serves as Belichick’s personal public relations manager and has become a controversial figure for her perceived involvement with the North Carolina football program — can be heard offering suggestions on how to improve the show’s graphics, repeatedly mentioning “Adobe Photoshop,” and questioning the difference between the use of “endzone” and “redzone.”

“This feels like a how many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb situation,” Hudson told Belichick while criticizing the production crew. “If somebody puts on a clock, I can create this in five minutes. Will you give me two grand to do that?”

During his podcast, Torre clarifies that Hudson’s mere presence in the production meeting caught the NFL Films crew off guard, especially once she inserted herself into the discussion.

“I don’t know how they have four full-time graphics people,” Hudson can be heard whispering to Belichick during what appears to be a break in the leaked production meeting.

“They can’t do shit,” Belichick agreed.

Belichick produced the “Coach” podcast in which he offered his analysis and commentary on the NFL alongside fellow NFL veterans such as former New England Patriots assistant Matt Patricia and current UNC general manager Michael Lombardi.

The NFL Films crew released a statement to Pat McAfee that the ESPN host read live on his show Friday.

“When this footage was captured, NFL Films did not produce ‘Coach’ with Bill Belichick. NFL Films did not edit this show. NFL Films did not shoot the show. NFL Films did not and does not own the show,” McAfee read Friday afternoon on The Pat McAfee Show. “As a matter of convenience to him, NFL Films allowed Coach Belichick and the production team from Underdog to use our studio for his ‘Coach’ show because he was already here in his capacity as talent on Inside the NFL. NFL Films has a longstanding relationship with Bill Belichick based on trust and mutual respect built over many years working together, and we have absolutely no reason to believe this footage leak came from NFL Films or any employee from NFL Films.”
