Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Cooper Beebe will likely return to the lineup this week after dealing with an ankle injury. In the Cowboys’ Thursday injury report ahead of the Monday night game against the Arizona Cardinals, Beebe was listed as a full participant in practice.

Cooper Beebe suffered an ankle sprain and a foot fracture in the Cowboys’ Week 2 win over the New York Giants. He was placed in injured reserve after the game, and the Cowboys opened his 21-day return to practice window last week.

Dallas selected Beebe in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He started 16 games at center during his rookie season after playing guard at Kansas State.

“I think one of the best things about Cooper Beebe is his versatility,” Cowboys offensive line coach Conor Riley said in February, per Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com. “Yes, he was a two-time All-American at guard for Kansas State, but he started games at tackle and at right guard, or rather, excuse me, at right guard, right tackle, left guard, and left tackle. So that versatility that he has really gives us a great opportunity to find the best fit for everybody up front.”

Cooper Beebe was cleared to play last week

Per Cowboys Wire, Beebe was cleared to play last Sunday when the Cowboys faced the Denver Broncos, but the team decided to hold him back for more rest. “I think this week will be the week,” Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said this week on 105.3 The Fan. “He was so close [last week]. I believe this will be the week.”

Beebe was one of the four Cowboys players who were full participants in practice on Thursday. The other three are DT Kenny Clark (elbow), DE Marshawn Kneeland (ankle), and CB Reddy Steward (thigh).

The Cowboys had six players who were limited in practice. Those players are OL Ajani Cornelius (knee/knee), LB DeMarvion Overshown (knee), CB Shavon Revel (knee), OL Tyler Smith (knee), S Juanyeh Thomas (migraine), and DT Perrion Winfrey (back).

S Alijah Clark (ribs), LB Jack Sanborn (groin), and S Donovan Wilson (elbow/shoulder) were the three players who did not practice on Thursday. The Cowboys will list the official game status for the injured players on Saturday.
