Daniel Cormier rips 'unprofessional' American Airlines for flight debacle

Former UFC star Daniel Cormier isn’t too happy with a recent flight experience. He took to social media to put American Airlines on blast for an incident that unfolded in San Francisco.
Cormier was attempting to get to Las Vegas to speak with fighters and other meetings ahead of Saturday’s fights, according to TMZ Sports. He’s a current broadcaster for UFC.
“I am literally in the worst experience. It’s unreal how horrific (American Airlines) staff at SFO is behaving right now,” Cormier wrote on Twitter. “I show up to my flight to find out my seat has been given away. If that isn’t enough this man Jose Chavez won’t even speak to me. This dude walks away from me as I am speak(ing) and he slams the door in my face.”
Cormier went on to call the situation “insane” and “so unprofessional” in his tweet.
It’s not clear whether Cormier was able to secure another flight to reach Vegas in time for meetings and interviews. But it was clear that the former MMA star was frustrated by the airport experience.
Cormier participated in 26 professional MMA fights over the course of his career, winning 22 and losing three with one no-contest.
Would people watch Musk-Zuckerberg UFC fight?
UFC president Dana White recently made remarks about the potential viewership of a fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. He believes it could land massive ratings.

White’s comments were prompted by a brief back-and-forth between the two on Twitter.
Tuesday, Musk, the owner of Twitter, replied to two users on Twitter that he’s “up for a cage match if he is,” referring to Zuckerberg, Facebook’s founder and CEO. Zuckerberg then took a screenshot of that and added a “send me location” graphic, posting it to his Instagram account on Wednesday.
Obviously, that caught plenty of attention. So TMZ Sports asked White about that potential and what it might do for ratings.
“Both guys are absolutely serious about this,” White told TMZ Sports. “This would be the biggest fight ever, in the history of the world. Bigger than anything that’s ever been done. It would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity.”
It sounds like a scene from The Big Bang Theory, doesn’t it? Will it actually come to fruition? Who knows. But White definitely believes there’s a market for this type of fight.
