Davante Adams injury update: Rams WR's status revealed for TNF game vs. Seahawks
The Los Angeles Rams have announced Davante Adams‘ injury status for the Thursday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks. The veteran wide receiver will likely not play on Thursday night as he’s listed as doubtful. Adams is dealing with knee and hamstring injuries and has not practiced this week.
Davante Adams aggravated a hamstring injury in Sunday’s win against the Detroit Lions. On Tuesday, Rams head coach Sean McVay said he would not rule out Adams, meaning that he could be a game-time decision.
“The two guys that will be DNPs, we’re going to give them every chance that they’ve got – (that) would be Davante with the hamstring, and [Braden] Fiske came out of the game with a little bit of soreness in his ankle, kind of got banged up,” McVay said, per Stu Jackson of the Rams’ official website. “So we’ll take it a day at a time with those guys, and because of the (walkthrough) – it’ll just be a practice projection. So they’ll both be DNPs, but we’ll take it all the way up to game time to see where they’re at.”

Davante Adams is having a monster 2025 season
Adams had four catches for 71 yards in the Rams’ 41-34 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The 32-year-old has put together a strong 2025 season, tallying 60 receptions for 789 yards and an NFL-leading 14 touchdowns. His 14 TD catches are the most he has had in a season since 2022, when he caught 14 in his first year with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Adams is a big reason why the Rams are 11-3 and in first place in the NFC. “It’s honestly been exactly what I hoped it’d be,” Adams said earlier this month, per Greg Beacham of the Associated Press. “Come in and have a fast start playing with a young team that’s fired up and has a lot of energy, a lot of juice. It’s just been fun to piggyback off what’s already been happening around here for a long time. I don’t think I came in and did anything unbelievable. I didn’t turn this thing around. I was just another piece to the puzzle, and it’s been fun being a part of a fun operation.”
