Dalvin Cook remains without a home following his release from the Minnesota Vikings on June 9.

With the star running back in search of his next destination, New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin is doing his best to lure him to the Big Apple. Making an appearance on “Good Morning Football” Monday, Conklin made his best pitch for Cook to sign with the Jets — suddenly a desirable situation following the offseason acquisition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

“There’s plenty of room. We’ve got room for whoever wants to come help us win a Super Bowl,” Conklin said, via NFL.com. “Me and Dalvin were basically lockermates my first couple years [in Minnesota], and he was an awesome guy. I reached out to him because I was just curious, like are the rumors true? Is this actually possible?

“That’d be a special backfield with Breece [Hall] and Dalvin and the rookie [Israel Abanikanda] and whatnot, Mike Carter. I don’t know. That’s a lot of running backs, but I think that’d be special, especially in this outside zone scheme.”

Cook, 27, is coming off his fourth straight 1,000-yard rushing campaign. He suited up in all 17 games for the first time in his career, rushing for 1,173 yards on 4.4 yards per carry and eight touchdowns. Cook added 39 receptions for 295 yards and two scores through the air. In addition, he earned the fourth Pro Bowl nomination of his career.

Garrett Wilson ‘would love to play’ with Dalvin Cook on New York Jets

Jets second-year wideout Garrett Wilson talked up the possibility of the franchise landing the former Florida State standout.

“Dalvin [is] cold man, I’ve known about Dalvin Cook since he was at Florida State,” Wilson said, via Rich Cimini of ESPN. “I was a Florida State fan growing up. Obviously I’d love to add someone of that talent. The front office is going to make the right decision and Dalvin is going to make the best decision for him. I’m just speaking on my love for him and how he plays the game. Obviously I would love to play with someone like that.”

Cook is weighing his options — but three favorites have emerged: The Jets, the Miami Dolphins and the Denver Broncos, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

“As far as official offers, I’m not 100 percent sure,” Rapoport said Friday on “The Pat McAfee Show.” “You’re only going to make an official offer if you believe the signing is imminent. I think for Dalvin Cook, it does help for him to wait. Similar to what we said with [DeAndre] Hopkins. Waiting is your friend.

“You can never know what can happen in summer training — is there a need that is created if someone has an injury? Signing now doesn’t help at all, really, but those are three [teams] I would keep an eye on. I think if there were others, we would know about it.”
