What an absolutely epic weekend for Kyle Larson as he caps it off with a $1,000,000 payday in the NASCAR All-Star Race. For the third time, Larson wins the All-Star Race and he earns himself a massive payday. He had the fastest car all night and led for most of the race on his way to the checkered flag.

This season has been going really well for Kyle Larson. This takes it to another level. He now joins Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt for second on the all-time wins list with three. Larson has also won all three of his All-Star Races on three different tracks.

No one could get close to Larson. That HendrickCars.com No. 5 Chevy Camaro was a rocket ship.

Kyle Larson is out here winning races and taking names. He took the checkered flag in the Truck Series race. Then he won the All-Star Race. Essentially, he swept the return at North Wilkesboro. Larson just can’t stop making history. He took full advantage and let it show.

Bubba Wallace was the only car within 4 seconds of Larson by the end of this race. Before everyone else got fresh tires at the halfway point, the No. 5 was ahead by 12.5 seconds on P2. It was as Larson said after the race “an old-school ass-whooping.” And 10-time winner at North Wilkesboro, Darrell Waltrip, was in the booth to see it.

Kyle Larson dominates North Wilkesboro return

It was 27 years in the making and Kyle Larson made sure to leave his mark. North Wilkesboro is now Larson’s track. When it comes to active drivers, he is the only one to have a points-paying win and an All-Star win at the track. This season is starting to feel a lot like 2021 and there might only be one driver that can stop that from happening, William Byron.

While this isn’t a points-paying race, Larson and Byron both have three wins this season. With the Coca-Cola 600 next week, will we see further Hendrick domination? Let’s not forget that Larson will be racing that race next year AFTER he competes in the Indy 500 earlier in the day. So, it’s a race he will want to do well at.

This All-Star Race was good in the first stage. Then, Larson took the lead and didn’t let it go. While it wasn’t the most exciting finish and the middle of the race was a bit mundane, this was still a special race. Even blowouts can be memorable and this was memorable for so many reasons.

The return to North Wilkesboro was amazing. We had a great Truck Series race. The wet-weather tires got used again. Then we saw the Hendrick Motorsports crew fine-tune this car from a 15th-place dud to an absolute beast of a Camaro.

Kyle Larson is your All-Star Race winner. What’s next for Yung Money?
