Lamar Jackson fumes over Ravens turnovers in expletive-filled postgame rant

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson sounded off after the team lost to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. While speaking to reporters, Jackson went on an expletive-filled rant about the turnovers the team committed in the loss.
“Gotta hold on to the f***ing ball. I’m sorry for my language,” Jackson said. “This s*** is annoying. I’m tired of this s***.”
The Ravens committed three turnovers in the 27-25 loss to the Bills. Of the three turnovers, Jackson committed two of them, an interception in the first quarter and a lost fumble in the second quarter which led to a touchdown for Buffalo.
Despite the mistakes made by the Ravens, they had a chance to tie the game with less than two minutes remaining. Jackson threw a touchdown pass to tight end Isaiah Likely to cut the Bills’ lead to two. The Ravens went for the two-point conversion, and Jackson threw a pass to tight end Mark Andrews, but the ball was dropped in the end zone.
Lamar Jackson shares more on loss to Bills
Jackson did not blame Andrews for the loss, saying the star tight end has been “busting his behind” and “making plays happen out there on that field for us.” The former Louisville star also said it’s a “team effort.”

After a strong regular season, the Ravens will head home after another early exit in the playoffs. Lamar Jackson will likely win his third MVP award, but he now has a 3-5 record in the playoffs. In the eight playoff games, Jackson has thrown 10 touchdown passes and seven interceptions. He has never played in a Super Bowl and reached the AFC Championship game once which was last season.
But what’s next for Jackson and the Ravens? While several key players will be free agents in March, Baltimore will have most of its stars back next season, including Jackson, Mark Andrews running back Derrick Henry, wide receiver Zay Flowers safety Kyle Hamilton and linebacker Roquan Smith.
Jackson is signed with the Ravens through the 2027 season. In 2023, the 28-year-old signed a five-year contract worth $260 million with $185 million guaranteed.
