Heading into the Divisional Round weekend, it was the Green Bay Packers who led the odds for Super Bowl 56. However, over two days, NFL fans witnessed the Packers go down, alongside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans.

Four teams remain to hoist up the Super Bowl trophy at SoFi Stadium next month. The L.A. Rams, San Francisco 49ers, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals duke it out this weekend for a shot at the trip to the big game.

After losses over the weekend, four of the five odds leaders from last week are all out, dramatically shifting the betting landscape. After taking down the Bills in overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs took the lead in the race to win it all. The odds for the Rams to win the Super Bowl went from +1100 to +200.

Super Bowl 56 goes down on Feb. 13.

Rams making history at SoFi

History is being made with the NFC Championship Game taking place in Los Angeles next Sunday. Not only is it the first title game in Los Angeles since the Rams moved back to the city, but it’s the first time the NFL is having a conference championship game in the same stadium they’ll have the Super Bowl.

Of course, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played a ‘home game’ in the Super Bowl last February. However, the NFC Championship was played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

Additionally, the Minnesota Vikings also came close to the accomplishment. Instead of hosting the conference championship game, the Vikings traveled to Philadelphia. In that instance, the Eagles stopped Minnesota from getting to the Super Bowl.

Now, the Rams will host their NFC West rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, in the NFC Championship. If they can find a way to be victorious, the host of the Super Bowl will see their home team play in the game for the second straight season.

SoFi Stadium just opened two years ago. It has a unique design, including a translucent roof and airflow from the open ends of the bowl. Normally, the stadium seats 70,420 people. It can be expanded greatly for major events, including the Super Bowl, to seat up to 100,240.
