Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker chugs beer at Anaheim Ducks game
Just four teams remain in the NFL playoffs, with two spots in the Super Bowl on the line Sunday. But the offseason has begun for the rest of the league, allowing players to have fun. Some might go on a long vacation but others, like Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker, are sticking around town to cheer on local teams.
Dicker was recently at an Anaheim Ducks game and was shown on the jumbotron. He was quick to take off his sweater to hype up the crowd. Some of his buddies sitting next to him decided to chug their beers and Dicker quickly got in on the action there.
An impressive showing from everyone involved, nothing gets the people going like a beer chug. Even if a Chargers logo was put over Dicker’s drink, it was an impressive effort from the kicker.

When Dicker was shown on the screen, the Ducks were up 2-0 with just over two minutes remaining in the second period. It wound up being a disastrous finish for Anaheim, giving up a goal before the intermission and another four coming out of the locker room.
There was no celebratory beer chug for Dicker to have after the win. But something tells me this will not be his final hockey game, having plenty of more opportunities to watch the Ducks at the Honda Center.
Cameron Dicker coming off solid season with Chargers
Dicker was one the most reliable legs in the NFL this past season, missing just two kicks. Both of them were from beyond 50 yards as well, making every single kick inside of the mark. Los Angeles always felt confident sending the former Texas product out there.
Even so, Dicker was not named to the AP All-Pro team, with the honor going to Brandon Aubrey of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a great story, previously playing soccer for Notre Dame and kicking in the UFL for two seasons. Just like Dicker, Aubrey missed two field goal attempts but did have three extra-point misses as well.
Dicker is not even on the Pro Bowl roster for the time being but things can change on Saturday. If the Baltimore Ravens win the AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs, Justin Tucker will not be able to participate.
You would think Dicker has a great opportunity to replace Tucker, both of whom spent their college kicking days at Texas. The folks down on the 40 Acres could wind up being happy with the AFC Pro Bowl kicker slot, no matter what.
