Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. declares for 2024 NFL Draft

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. made a decision on his football future regarding the 2024 NFL Draft. He decided to take his talents to the next level and declare for the draft.
Regarded as one of the best receivers in college football, it was a tall task to defend Harrison Jr. on the field. The 2023 Biletnikoff Award winner is the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison Sr.
The 2023 season was another dominant year for the Buckeyes’ pass catcher.
He finished the campaign with 67 catches for 1,211 yards, 14 touchdowns and 18.1 yards per catch. In three seasons at Ohio State, Harrison Jr. had 155 catches, 2,613 yards, 31 touchdowns and 16.9 yards per catch.

Harrison Jr. has a lot to live up to, namely his father’s career. He’s already a better pro prospect at this point based on his college career.
But of course, the elder Harrison has a Hall of Fame bust in Canton.
“Yeah, I think you just get used to it after a while and then also embrace them,” Harrison Jr. said of expectations. “I think to be one of the greatest players to ever play this game, you have to shine in those big moments. So I look forward to them and definitely glad I came to a university like Ohio State and be able to showcase my talents and I know I have the name and a lot of eyes on me, so I’ve always embraced the moments.”
Harrison Jr. will go down in Ohio State lore for his contributions to the program. Perhaps one day he can return to Columbus in the distant future and see his name and No. 18 retired by the team.
