It’s been a long week for the Dallas Cowboys after coming up far short by losing in the NFC Wild Card. It continued into this weekend as LB Micah Parsons had to address some words from his family on social media.

Parsons handled a handful of tweets by his brother, Terrence Parson Jr., with a tweet of his own on Sunday. He made it clear that the opinions of his sibling as his and his alone as his focus remains on his team, their fanbase, and their ultimate goals as a franchise.

“Any comments made by Terrence Parsons Jr. are his & his alone. As you know if I have something to say I’m not afraid to say it,” wrote Parsons. “I love my team, my brothers on my team and the city of Dallas and I’m more committed than ever to bring a championship to the greatest fan base on earth.”

Parsons Jr. has since responded with a quote tweet on his brother’s statement. He made it clear that his words weren’t mean in a critical way as he has supported the Cowboys and will continue to do so, regardless of how anyone construes or misconstrues his messages.

“LITERALLY I have my own voice…I said nothing to disrespect any player. Been a Cowboys fan SINCE BIRTH I want nothing but the best for every person & player apart of the organization,” wrote Parsons Jr.. “Twisting my words for click bait ain’t it.”

Parsons just finished his third season with Dallas as a leading member of their Top-10 defenses since 2021. He led the team in sacks with a career-high of 14 while also posting 64 tackles, a pair of deflections, and a forced fumble as well as a recovery.

The last thing that the Cowboys need is any more drama as they enter the offseason. That’s why Parsons took it upon himself to calm this matter down himself on social media.

Parsons calls out ‘fake ass Cowboys fan’ in Skip Bayless

Micah Parsons broke his silence on Friday after his team dropped their first playoff game to the Green Bay Packers weekend.

He didn’t share an episode of his show, ‘The Edge’, this week and he has been silent on social media since before the loss on Sunday.

What (or who) finally got the Cowboys star to speak? None other than Skip Bayless. The commentator was heated after the playoff loss, even tossing some memorabilia into the trash can. It didn’t stop there, though. He took his disappointment to social media where he called out Parsons.

“Can’t wait for Micah Parsons’ podcast tomorrow,” Bayless tweeted on Sunday. “That’s what he does best.”

“You just a hating ass mf who mad I ain’t want to do your show?!” Parsons replied. “Where was all this when you were on my nuts wanting me to come on your show every Tuesday!! You lame asf skip real shit, fake ass cowboys fan!!”
