The New York Giants released the first episode of “The Eli Manning Show” on their YouTube page Thursday, hosted by former quarterback Eli Manning.

Manning and the Giants released a trailer to the show recently, where the former quarterback and Super Bowl-winner introduced himself as “Eli Manning, the professional talk show host.” The new YouTube show, as he described in the preview, will feature in-depth interviews, field segments and a chance for New York Giants fans to join him for the show.

Manning was drafted with the first-overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft after a prolific career at Ole Miss, where in 2003 he won SEC Offensive Player of the Year, was named to the All-SEC first team, was a second team All-American and won the Jonny Unitas Golden Arm Award. His No. 10 jersey would later be retired by the Ole Miss Rebels.

Manning played for the Giants his entire career, from 2004 until 2019. He won two Super Bowls with the giants, and was the Super Bowl MVP both times. Meanwhile, he was named to four NFL Pro Bowls as he threw for over 57,000 career passing yards, coupled with 366 passing touchdowns and 244 interceptions.

The new YouTube show came in the footsteps of ESPN’s new Sunday Night Football “Manning Cast,” an alternate ESPN2 feed on which Peyton and Eli Manning commentate the game, give an inside look on the thoughts of an NFL player and invite special guests on for commentary. So far, the Mannings have had LeBron James, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Travis Kelce, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Long and Matt Stafford join the Manning Cast as guests, to name a few.

Nick Saban may have dropped a hint on Manningcast

Nick Saban appeared on the Eli-Peyton Manningcast on Monday, and the Alabama head coach may have dropped a hint regarding Arch Manning, the nephew of Eli and Peyton.

Arch is currently the No. 1 recruit in the 2023 On3 Top-100, and the quarterback holds offers from most ever major program in the country. At this point, it seems that Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia, Clemson and a few more schools are at play. Saban may have hinted that Manning would have the best surrounding cast at Tuscaloosa.

“As the quarterback, it’s really important that you have good players around you,” Saban said, while telling the story of Jalen Hurts’ transfer from Alabama to Oklahoma. “I know they have a good system there and you’ll do well. I think he did really well there and that’s why he’s got an opportunity now in the league.”

Yahoo! Sports columnist Dan Wetzel believed it was a subtle message directed towards Arch Manning. And he wasn’t the only one.
