The NFL announced on Thursday that the Dec. 7 NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers has been flexed into the 4:25 p.m. ET spot, meaning most of the country will see that game at Lambeau Field. Meanwhile, the AFC clash between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills has been moved up to 1:00 p.m. ET.

Due to Cincinnati’s disappointing season and the tight race atop the NFC North between the Bears and Packers, the latter game just sounds a bit more intriguing. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, however, should be back for that game in time to go up against Buffalo’s Josh Allen.

Through 11 weeks, Chicago sits atop the division with a 7-3 record. Green Bay is right behind them with a 6-3-1 record, making this a must-win game for the Packers in Lambeau. On the flip side, this would be a monstrous win for Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson in proving themselves worthy of being a playoff-caliber team.

Last season, the Bears stunned the Packers 24-22 in Lambeau. It marked their first road victory over Green Bay since 2015. They are looking to win back-to-back road games over their bitter rivals this season for the first time since 2006-07.

“I mean, they suck,” Williams said about Packers fans during an appearance at Fanatics Fest via CBS Sports. “After the game, after we won at Lambeau — 1-0 at Lambeau — (we) obviously we tried to do the Lambeau leap … and we actually tried to jump in the crowd where our fans were. They started throwing everything at you, they push you off — and the Lambeau leap it’s a real leap, it’s not a little baby jump. You actually have to high jump basically. They’re pushing you, pushing your face.”

Many believed that the Week 14 game between Cincinnati and Buffalo would be between two of the top Super Bowl favorites, but that is not the case. Franchise quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a turf toe injury in Week 2 that has kept him out for most of the season. Although he is set to return soon, the Bengals sit at 3-7 and remain far out of playoff conversations.

Although it sits at 7-3, many have considered Buffalo to be a bit disappointing this season as well. It has won some big games against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but also suffered shocking losses to the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins.
