NFL officially reveals 17 players that will attend 2023 NFL Draft
The 2023 NFL Draft is only two weeks away and the anticipation continues to build for football fans across the globe. It’s one of the most anticipated events of the sports calendar and with good reason–there are few things in life quite like it. On Thursday afternoon, the NFL released the list of the players that are expected to attend the 2023 NFL Draft in person.

- Will Levis–QB–Kentucky
- Joey Porter, Jr.–CB–Penn State
- Anthony Richardson–QB–Florida
- Bijan Robinson–RB–Texas
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba–WR–Ohio State
- C.J. Stroud–QB–Ohio State
- Keion White–EDGE–Georgia Tech
- Tyree Wilson–EDGE–Texas Tech
- Devon Witherspoon–CB–Illinois
- Bryce Young–QB–Alabama
Alabama and Ohio State lead all college football teams with the most players in attendance for the draft. Each team will have three players in Kansas City for the weekend’s festivities. It should be an incredible couple of days. The sports world and football fans across the globe can’t wait.
The Carolina Panthers currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Bears traded the top pick in this year’s draft to the Panthers, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Chicago received wide receiver DJ Moore, the No. 9 overall pick, and the No. 61 overall pick in 2023, Carolina’s first-round pick in 2024, and the Panthers’ second round pick in 2025 in return.
More on the 2023 NFL Draft
The 2023 NFL Draft is set to take place from Thursday, April 27 through Saturday, April 29 in Kansas City, Missouri. The event will be held at the plaza just outside of Union Station.
Round 1 of the NFL Draft is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Apr. 27. Rounds 2-3 will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Apr. 28, and Rounds 4-7 will begin at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday, Apr. 29. The draft will be broadcasted throughout the weekend on both ESPN and NFL Network.
To be eligible for the NFL Draft, players must be at least three years removed from their final year of high school while having used up their collegiate eligibility. Underclassmen are able to request league approval to become eligible for the draft, as are players who have graduated prior to using up all of their collegiate eligibility. 100 underclassmen were approved for last year’s draft. 73 of those 100 underclassmen were granted special eligibility while 27 of them were underclassmen who had completed their college degrees.
The 2023 NFL Scouting Combine took place from Feb. 28 through March 6 in Indianapolis.
