As Notre Dame looks to continue its quest for a College Football Playoff bid, the road runs through Stanford. The Fighting Irish will take on the Cardinal in their rivalry game in Week 14, and the opening point spread has been released.

Notre Dame opened as a 32.5-point favorite against Stanford, according to BetMGM. The over-under also opened at XX.

In addition, running back Jeremiyah Love added to his historic season with 170 rushing yards and three touchdowns. That put him in a tie with Jerome Bettis for the most total touchdowns in a single season in Notre Dame history, giving him a chance to break that mark against Stanford.

Week 14 will mark the 38th all-time matchup between Notre Dame and Stanford. The Fighting Irish have won four of the last five showdowns, including last year’s 49-7 victory in South Bend as part of their eventual run to the national championship game.
