Among the many tributes and kind words said about Greg Biffle in the last day, Tony Stewart had a rather touching message. Stewart and Biffle were competitors on the track in NASCAR for many years, and friends off the track for many years, as well.

Greg Biffle was a great talent on the track. Truck Series and Busch Series champion. Before Corey Heim had his epic season in 2025, it was Biffle who had the most wins in a single Truck Series season. But it isn’t the wins that so many are remembering in the last day. It is the humanitarian efforts, and Biffle as a whole human being, that is being celebrated and remembered.

Tony Stewart shared a few touching words to sum up his feelings. It is a good assessment of how many are feeling today.

“Still trying to wrap my head around this,” Stewart posted on social media. “Greg, Cristina, Emma, and Ryder were taken far too soon. My heart breaks for their entire circle. Biff was a hell of a driver on the track, but an even better man off it.”

Heartbreak and sadness. The NASCAR world is in mourning as one of the best to ever get behind the wheel, and his beautiful family, along with three friends, were killed in the plane crash. All of the tributes and words about Biffle and his family show just how loved and appreciated they all were.

Greg Biffle was still racing in 2025

During the 2024 and 2025 seasons, race fans were able to see a little more of Greg Biffle. With the ARCA West Series returning to Tri-City Raceway in Washington state, Biffle decided to suit up and race in his home state once again. This season, Biffle ran two races in ARCA.

For his two efforts in the ARCA West Series, Biffle earned two top-five finishes. He was P3 at Tri-City and P4 at Portland International, showing he still had skill on the road course. Biffle had also been working with YouTube star Cleetus McFarland as McFarland began his own ARCA career.

Greg Biffle was put on the NASCAR Hall of Fame ballot for the 2026 class. He was not selected at the time, but will remain on the ballot for the 2027 class. It would be fitting and proper to induct him into the Hall of Fame, not just because of his death, but because of all he did on and off the track for so many people.
