Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs continues to deal with an injury ahead of the team’s Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The team released its Wednesday practice/injury report, and Diggs has a knee injury. He was a limited participant in practice and is looking to return to the field soon. The Cowboys updated the report, as it originally said Diggs also had a hip injury to go along with his knee. But Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com pointed out that Diggs has no hip injury, and that addition was a “clerical error.”

Trevon Diggs has not played in over two months, as he was on injured reserve due to a knee and a concussion. The Cowboys opened Diggs’ practice window on Nov. 30 and have until Saturday to add him to the 53-man roster. If Dallas doesn’t place Diggs on the active roster, he will revert to injured reserve for the rest of the season.

Diggs was expected to play against the Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday night. But the Cowboys informed him on Saturday that he would be inactive.

“From the first conversation that we had, it was practice. I guess I wasn’t showing them what they wanted to see in practice,” Diggs said when asked about not playing on Sunday, per Todd Archer of ESPN. “This week, I showed them what they wanted to see in practice, and it’s still the same result. I don’t know what else I need to do or what to show. At this point, I feel like it’s not even, it’s not up to me or what I do. It’s really up to them, and what they want to do. I’m just showing up every day. I’m going to go to work.”
