As the Big Ten race heats up, another big-time matchup will be in Iowa City in Week 12. USC will head to Kinnick Stadium to take on Iowa, and the opening point spread has been released.

The Trojans opened as 6.5-point favorites over the Hawkeyes, according to BetMGM. The over-under also opened at 49.5.

It will mark the first time Iowa and USC face off since the 2019 Holiday Bowl, and their first regular-season matchup since 1976. The showdown comes at a key time in not only the Big Ten, but also the College Football Playoff race.

How to watch USC at Iowa

Time: Nov. 15, 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: CBS
Location: Kinnick Stadium, Iowa City, Iowa

USC is coming off an important victory in Week 11 after coming in at No. 19 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. The Trojans took down Northwestern in a Friday night matchup at the Coliseum. It looked like a back-and-forth affair, but a huge play by Jayden Maiava on an interception – which he turned into a forced fumble and ensuing touchback – proved to be a turning point.

Iowa, meanwhile, faced an intriguing game against Oregon. It was shaping up to be strength-on-strength as the Hawkeyes and Ducks squared off. Both teams needed the victory to stay in the national picture as the final few weeks of the regular season arrive.

Now, the stage is set for USC at Iowa in Week 12. It will be CBS’ Big Ten game of the week in the 3:30 p.m. ET window.
