Wisconsin at Alabama: Early point spread updated for Week 3 showdown, how to watch

Wisconsin will be on the road in Week 3, traveling to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to face Alabama. It’s the second-straight season that the Badgers and the Crimson Tide will face off, after their battle in Madison in 2024.
According to BetMGM Sportsbook, No. 19 Alabama opens as a 21-point home favorite over visiting Wisconsin with an over-under points total set at 47.5.
Last season, Alabama straight up beat Wisconsin in Madison. The Badgers raced out to a 3-0 lead, and then 28 unanswered points from the Crimson Tide followed. In the end, Alabama would defeat Wisconsin by a score of 42-10.
Jalen Milroe showed why he was so talented against the Big Ten squad. The Alabama quarterback passed for 196 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns, as well. If you’re counting, that’s five total touchdowns that Milroe was responsible for against Wisconsin.
The other score came via running back Jam Miller, who rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Current Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson even got in the game during the blowout, completing four of his five pass attempts for 30 yards.

During the game against the Crimson Tide, Tyler Van Dyke started five of five, but he was injured and Braedyn Locke took over at quarterback. He completed half his pass attempts for a touchdown and no picks, accumulating 125 yards in the process. However, he was no match for Milroe.
Moving on to 2025, Wisconsin is hoping to prove they’re among the upper echelon of teams in the Big Ten, while Alabama is looking to bounce back after a slow start to the season. A matchup against the Badgers is just what the doctor ordered, and now we’ll see if Kalen DeBoer’s team can follow through.
