Cade Phillips has a projectable frame, good length with broad shoulders that should put on good weight once he gets into a college weight program. Phillips is an explosive athlete. He is good in transition and playing out of the dunker spot. Needs to develop his ball skills and his jump shot range. Right now, he plays mostly five feet from the basket. He is a good weak side shot blocker, has natural timing. Wonder about skilding his feet and turning his hips, but that could come as he gets more flexibility in a college weight program. There is a lot to like as a hustle guy, dirty work, nice bounce with upside. His dad played football at Alabama, and his mom played basketball there.
