Cannon Buchanan

My name is Cannon Buchanan, and I attend Mercer County High School in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. My goal is to continue my academic and athletic journey at the collegiate level. I plan to pursue a degree in Business Marketing, and my long-term objective is to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA). I believe I would be a strong addition to a collegiate football program because of my work ethic, leadership, willingness to learn, and commitment to improvement. In my first year playing football, I was honored to receive the Leadership Award, voted on by both teammates and coaches. This recognition is meaningful to me because it reflects how I approach the game with discipline, accountability, and a team-first mentality. I bring versatility to the field and have experience playing offense, defense, and special teams. My primary position is Wide Receiver, and on defense, Safety or Cornerback. On special teams, I contribute as a Kick Returner, and I can punt when needed.
