Grove discusses commitment to Iowa

Indiana

Chase Grove is the youngest of 3 children. His sisters attend Vanderbilt and the University of Miami.

Chase Grove is a promising young athlete from Indianapolis, Indiana, where he currently attends North Central High School and plays as the starting quarterback for the Panthers football team (jersey #9).

Born and raised in the Hoosier State, Chase has quickly made a name for himself in high school football despite still being in his sophomore year (Class of 2028). Standing at approximately 6'2" and weighing around 180 pounds, he brings solid size, arm strength, and poise to the quarterback position. During his sophomore season, he posted impressive numbers, including over 1,900 passing yards, 19 passing touchdowns, a 64% completion percentage, and 4 rushing touchdowns in his highlights.
Chase began gaining attention early in his high school career, with recruiting profiles appearing on major platforms like On3, 247Sports, and Hudl while he was still developing as a freshman and sophomore. He has already earned scholarship offers from notable Big Ten programs, including the University of Minnesota (announced in early 2026) and Purdue University. He has spoken positively about both programs, expressing excitement about their coaching staffs and cultures, and has mentioned plans to visit campuses.

A dedicated competitor, Chase has showcased his skills at various camps and events, including an invite to the Ohio Under Armour All-American Camp Series, the Navy All American Combine, and the QB Collective invite only camp. His Hudl profile and social media highlights demonstrate his growth as a pro-style quarterback with strong mechanics and leadership qualities. He remains active in connecting with coaches and sharing his journey, often posting film breakdowns and updates.

Off the field, Chase maintains a faith-centered perspective (referencing Bible verses like Matthew 5:44 on related profiles), he attends St Luke Catholic Church, and balances athletics with his high school studies in the Indianapolis area. As one of the top emerging quarterback talents in Indiana's 2028 class, he continues to turn heads and build momentum toward what promises to be an exciting college football future.
