Johnson is a reactionary athlete who can read, react and triggers quickly. Shows the ability to cover without having to clutch and grab like so many young corners and has excellent ball awareness down the field. Prototype frame pushing 6-foot-1 and room to add good weight without losing any of his quick twitch or burst. Runs well with a track background and clocked a personal best 10.94-100m as a sophomore. Speed translates to the football field as he’s able to turn and run with the faster receivers on the deeper routes and breaks well on the football on the underneath stuff. High Power 4 potential and an NFL ceiling with continued development.
