Galen Conrad II

My name is Galen Conrad II, and I am a member of the Class of 2026 at Zachary High School in Zachary, Louisiana. I played freshman football in 2022, competed at the JV and varsity levels in 2023, and became a varsity starter in 2024 and 2025. I primarily play safety and also have experience at nickel, outside linebacker, and cornerback, allowing me to contribute in multiple roles on defense and on special teams. I take pride in playing physical, disciplined, and assignment-sound football. I am coachable, team-oriented, and respond well to structure, accountability, and clear expectations. I am the oldest of three siblings and take pride in being a positive role model for my younger brother and sister. I am active in my church and value faith, family, and community. Off the field, I balance academics, football, and work responsibilities. I work at the local library and co-own a lawn service and mobile detailing business, which have helped me develop responsibility, leadership, and strong time-management skills. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, riding horses, and spending time outdoors. I am interested in pursuing business, welding, or mechanical/diesel technology at the next level and am committed to continued growth as a student-athlete and young man.
