Safety

Williams is a complete safety who does a little of everything well. Boasts a prototype 6-foot-1, 175 pound frame with room to add good weight and should easily be able to carry an additional 25 pounds at the college level. Has two-way ability and is a talented receiver but safety is where his ceiling is highest. Receiver background shows up in his ability to track the football and high end ball skills. Covers a lot of ground in the secondary and has the kind of range you like to have in an old school free safety. A willing hitter who can play a physical game and has a nice edge to him. Quick to trigger, a reactionary athlete with high end instincts. Closes really well on the football and tackles well in space. Projects as a multi-year starter at the college level with an NFL ceiling.
