Rising senior, 6'4, 205 - two years of starting experience under his belt. While helping lead his team to the state semi-finals, topped 3100 yards with 36 total TDs and completed over 60% of his passes. All-district and All-State (WVSWA). Good clean mechanical operation. Ball by sternum, out-up release. Slight pause at top of motion. That hitch can cause some push throws. Occasionally will narrow his base upon release, flipping his hips through his target. Not overly zippy and fails to show an impressive fastball. Top-end arm strength is in question, but he's capable of driving the seam and hitting deep throws outside the numbers in stride. Good instincts to tuck and run. Will scramble to space and can gobble up available yards with long strides. Nice and controlled pocket movement. Can stop, recollect his base and fire downfield accurately. Great touch and anticipation. Nice vertical identification skills seeing open downfield routes.
