Houston Clear Lake coach Larry McRae uses one word to describe his star 2024 prospect Hunter Moddon: “Fast.” McRae isn’t wrong about Moddon’s speed. Moddon has been clocked as fast as 4.39 seconds in the 40-yard dash, plus he’s a Junior Olympian that has competed in the 100- and 200-meter dash and the long and triple jumps. He plays all over the field for Clear Lake, making an impact on offense, defense and special teams. Through two seasons of varsity football, Moddon has 476 yards of total offense and four touchdowns. On defense as a junior, he recorded three interceptions.
