Jackson Ownbey | Class of 2027 | DE/EDGE/TE

D.W. Daniel High School (SC) | 6’4”, 220 lbs | Two-Sport Varsity Athlete | 3.37/4.0 Scale, 3.88 Weighted GPA

I am a Class of 2027 DE/EDGE/TE at D.W. Daniel High School and a two-sport varsity athlete in football and baseball. I have played football since age 6 and have competed at the varsity level in both sports since my freshman year.

As a freshman, I was part of Daniel’s football state championship team and earned All-Region honors in baseball. I stepped away from football my junior year to focus on baseball after gaining recruiting traction, earning state recognition and competing in the Prep Baseball Future Games. I continue to receive baseball recruiting interest from Division I and Division II programs.

After missing football and being encouraged by my coaches to return to the defensive side of the ball, where I played throughout my youth, I returned for my senior season. I am fully committed to football and grateful I made the decision to play again. My goal is to continue developing and pursue every opportunity football and baseball may provide at the collegiate level.

Verified Athletic Testing

Baseball | RHP/1B:
88 MPH Fastball | 100.5 MPH Exit Velocity | 84 MPH Infield Velocity | 6.89 60-yard dash

Baseball measurements verified through Prep Baseball, with 100.5 MPH exit velocity recorded at Clemson Baseball Camp.

Academics: 3.37/4.0 & 3.88-Weighted GPA

I am a physical, explosive and competitive athlete with extensive football experience and a strong commitment to training and development.

Interests: Outside of football and baseball, I enjoy playing golf with my dad, brother and close friends, as well as fishing on local lakes with friends and family. I also enjoy sitting down with my family for a delicious Sunday meal my mom cooks up.
