Film Review Notes

This is a pretty intriguing mixtape for Leak (Underrated Mississippi PG?). It starts with a dunk where he gets both feet below him and gets his elbow at the rim. Then he hits you with an array of passes from different angles and levels. This was a nice mix of passes, half-court and in transition, showing decision-making with both hands against a collapsed defense. Then it shifts to the scoring side of his game. You can see his jump shot form needs some tweaking, but he knocked down a mid-range shot and got to the rim with a quick first step. This was a fun highlight, well put together, and gave a baseline understanding of Leak's capabilities. The second video (Jaden Leak vs. Bartlett) also encapsulated his game as a lead guard. The first two passes were great, attacked the defense, read their movement, and made the appropriate play that the rotation called for. Personally, I loved the reverse pivot pull-up in the paint; that is a great bucket. Each of these videos builds intrigue to watch a PG leading a team.
