Jaquaize Pettaway

Jaquaize Pettaway is one of the top two-sport stars in the Lone Star State. Along with his accolades on the football field – highlighted by his unanimous all-district selection in 2021 and being named the district offensive newcomer of the year in 2020 – Pettaway stars in track. He’s been clocked lower than 10.5 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 21.72 seconds in the 200 as a sophomore. He also won his district in the 200 and long jump and finished second during his junior year. Langham Creek recruiting coordinator Aaron Fisher calls Pettaway a “cheat code” because of his explosive ability to score any time he touches the ball. Pettaway plans on majoring in marketing in college.
