Listed at a non-verified 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, and the film appears to match. He'll need to add mass, but he has an excellent body type to do it. I'd put him at adding close to 25–30 pounds with ease and still moving comfortably at 235–240 pounds. That's a meaningful amount of weight for a player who is already a power rusher at 205. Plus he has a personal best of 5-foot-2 in the high jump, which lines up with the get-off he shows off the line, one of his strongest traits. The point of attack is where he's at his…

Top Attributes

- Play strength and raw power at the point of attack; great functional strength. - Ability to initiate contact and hand usage in order to gain leverage - Motor and effort level as a chase player from the backside - Excellent frame to add and carry mass throughout his frame

Areas to Develop

- Must develop hip fluidity and bend to become more effective in his speed rush - Need to see improvement in his change of direction and foot speed to be more effective in space - Has to gain weight without sacrificing burst and explosive ability - Developing a more diverse catalog of rush moves

Film Review Notes

Able to watch latest junior film and Side-Anene has explosive burst off the line of scrimmage with strong hands. Does a good job of initiating contact at the point of attack. Uses his hands in order to keep his chest and maintain leverage against blockers. Good raw power for his size and classification. Plays with a high motor as well and looks to chase the football from the backside. Need to see improvement in his bend and hip fluidity. Looks a bit tight on tape when bending the corner in his pass rush. Would like to see improvement in his foot speed and change of direction. Has a tendency to get stuck in the mud when forced to change direction and has some heavy feet when it comes to short area. Does not look as comfortable in space as he does in close quarters. Improvement in his overall movement skills while adding mass is paramount to his growth as a prospect.
