Jaxson Owens

Football is my passion. I have dreamed of playing football in college and professionally since I was seven. As an athlete who plays three sports football, baseball and wrestling, my mission is to demonstrate the value of versatility, discipline, and balance. I strive to excel in each sport by embracing the unique challenges and skills required, while maintaining a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement. My goal is to inspire others by showing that dedication, time management, and passion can lead to success in multiple disciplines. Through my journey, I aim to cultivate resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship, and I hope to encourage fellow athletes to pursue their passions, embrace diverse experiences, and achieve their personal best in every area they pursue. On the field I am a calm leader, explosive on the ball, and I have quick feet and great pass rushing. I am coachable and appreciate feedback to help make me a stronger player. Coaches compliment how I understand the game and can see the or anticipate my opponent's options. In the classroom, I am focused and work to maintain good grades. I have over a 4.03 GPA taking honors classes. I want to attend college that will challenge me academically and allow me to play at the highest level possible for football. I aspire to become a mechanical engineer after completing my professional football career.
