Hardy, a top-100 defensive back on the On3 Consensus, is a prolific nickel. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder originally from Lewisville (Texas) was aggressive jamming receivers in the slot and was reactive every time the ball was thrown his direction. Hardy had a statement Saturday with two picks in one game — one plucking it in zone coverage and another to seal a Miami Immortals win playing free. He’s a ballhawk and finds the football consistently, and was built to be an elite nickel.

Jaydan Hardy is a Swiss Army knife in the secondary capable of playing corner, safety or in the nickel, and regardless of where he lines up, he’s good for a game-changing play or two. Hardy was a ballhawk at safety for the Miami Immortals. The Texas transplant has added almost 20 pounds to his frame since enrolling at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, but hasn’t lost any of his explosiveness or instincts to jump routes.
